Auditorium
Playhouse auditorium seating (240 including Balcony) is very comfortable and wide aisles enable patrons to remain seated as others pass by.
Seating is terraced and staggered giving clear sightlines. Nine rows of seating run from "A" which is closest to the stage to "I" at the back of the main auditorium.
Seat numbers 1 and 23 in row H are removable to accommodate wheelchairs and these spaces need to be pre-booked.
Balcony seating (38) is ideal for block-booking a performance for your next club or corporate social.
Acoustics are good throughout the theatre.
Air-conditioning helps keep theatre patrons in comfortable temperatures throughout the year.
To help keep theatre seating in good condition, food and drinks are not permitted in the auditorium.
Two additional exit doors are to the right of the auditorium open on to the driveway between the theatre and the Glen Eden R.S.A.
Access to the stage area is by two steps either side of the stage apron. This gives easy accessibility to the audience when this aspect is required
