Theatre Entrance
A very distinctive brick arch built in the Art Deco style forms the entrance to Playhouse Theatre. For those who have difficulty in negotiating stairs, a ramp is also provided.
Above what is now the theatre office door to the right are engraved the words "Town Board Offices" and above the external door to the Front of House Supper Room on the left are the words "Public Library". These inscriptions are a reminder of the building's past history as Glen Eden's Town Hall.
Central double doors under a hemisphere-shaped lead glass window, lead to the front of house foyer.
Blue, pink or white neon lights can be used to illuminate the Art Deco window at night to create a choice of atmosphere for the event.
